I give up -- well not really. I can't seem to beat Strauf at the beehive
puzzle. I recognize this from 7th Guest and the microscope and that one was a
bear to beat. I finally did it but I guess I didn't learn my lesson. Can
any one give me some help at beating this?

If I'm going to have to give in and let the notebook solve it for me, is
there any way to say -- just solve it without having to do it one move at a
time. To do it that away, I estimate two hours what with Stauf's snide
remark and then here query. A long time just to have the computer solve the
puzzle for me.

But I'd rather do it myself. I tried taking the offensive but this was a
disaster. Using defensive moves was better but still not good enough to beat
him. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I, like many others, I suspect, also gave up on that one - it took about 15
minutes just to lose! If you press Help *again* after the techno-psychic ally
asks you if you want her to make the next move, she'll then ask if you want her
to solve it for you. Say yes!!!!!

Ok.. You can do it like that. but I actually found this one a little
easier to beat than some of the later puzzles. Such as the dolls house
at the End.... now that is a nightmare.
I found that if to start with you played just like him, mirroring his
moves, you beat him about 80 % of the time when it comes to the end, only
just, but you still beat him.. as long as you don't make any silly mistakes.
Any ideas about the Last puzzle btw? and the furniture one.. that still
eludes me.. .sigh.
ah well.
