Is there a trick to getting the second set of scrap notes to assemble? I've
arranged them perfectly (each and every pixle is perfetly aligned), but it
still won't assemble. Access tech support says that it's not a bug. Does
it effect gameplay if i don't get them assembled?

If you're talking about the note from the Countess' mansion, then no, you
don't need to assemble the note to continue. In fact, the note will NOT
assemble, no matter what you do. It in no way affects the story or gameplay
down the road, so don't sweat it! :)

Don't worry. Just get on with the game. There is nothing you can
do. At least, you will never sink to the same level as I was when I
came across that one. I was partially bald for a while (from tearing
my hair out). Man, that was *hell*. The puzzle, I mean, not
pulling my hair out. Although, it was slightly painful.

No, and no. You cannot assemble it no matter what. It will never go together no
matter how hard you try. (Trust me. Even gluing the pieces on your monitor
won't help. Just kidding!)

It doesn't matter. You can complete the game anyway.

>>I had the same problem. I believe it's necessary to assemble the note to
proceed and I guess I must have managed it eventually since I finished the
game but it was really awful trying to line them up.<<

It's not necessary and it's not even possible. No matter how well you get the
darn things lined up the game NEVER registers that you've done it. No patches
ever were made to fix this. But it doesn't keep you from finishing the game.

Ooops. Sorry for the misinformation. All I remember is an extremely high
level of frustration.
