Sokal seems to have run out of steam and hasn't done anything very
interesting since Syberia or so, hopefully he'll get this one right.
I know someone in Europe who's just started playing it, seems to be a
Agatha Christie's whodunit type murder mystery set in an Art
Deco/Nouveau hotel - I like the sound of that, we'll see.

I've downloaded the USS version of the game and have started to play.
The game ReadMe gives some information about it but ends by referring
the reader to the manual. I couldn't find anything in the program
folder about a manual so I wrote to the support group. In the USA,
that is suppo...@gamesplanet.com , a company that has totally
ignored each and every inquiry from me.
I finally wrote to the people at WhiteBird. They were most willing to
help but limited in what they could do. Eventually, they contacted one
of their contacts at MC2/Microids and she sent me a e-manual.
I hope the game is good enough to wash out the bitter taste in my
mouth that Microids and MC2 created. And I'm counting on the fact that
my being ignored is more a result of inefficiency than that the
program has a gazillion bugs in it and MC2 is overwhelmed by
complaints.
Seems like a lack of communication. I hope you like the game after all your
trouble. Is the game out in stores in the U.S.?
I'd be interested to know what you think about it.
