Thanks in advance.
PS - how far into the game am I?

Heh... this one had me stumped for a long time. The white card is in the
back yard of Hammond's house. Why is it there? I have no idea. I must have
searched and re-searched every damn inch of that town looking for a clue as
to where it was, only to break down and read a walkthrough for its location.
>Thanks in advance.
You're welcome.
>PS - how far into the game am I?
I think you're about 2/3 into it.
Gus
Ahh, whew. Thanks! Dude, you've been a huge help!

Do I get to nail a T-Rex? :-)

The smaller tyrannosaur (I believe it's the Albertosaurus) is easily
killable, but I never managed to kill a big Rex. I did shoot the hell out of
one until it stood still indefinitely, but it never fell over. Not sure if
you can count that as a kill, or one of the many Trespasser bugs. :-)
Gus
I finally *did* kill a T-Rex!
I got into the Harbor area. While I was checking out an office building,
I heard a T-Rex outside. When I exited, it was munching on that
Stegasaurus behind the building.
Well, I checked out all the surrounding the warehouses -- talk about a
firepower cache! Eventaully, I accumulated 5 high power rifles, 4
Mach10s, and the other two kinds of machine pistol. First, I unloaded
all 4 Mach10s into the T-Rex. Then it ran off to the side. I fetched
the high power rifles. I started sniping, then the T-Rex 'knew' me.
Fortunately for me :-) I was retreated into Warehouse B. I ended up
shooting all 5 high power rifles into the T-Rex's head. Then I unloaded
the more normal-looking other machine pistol. This I started shooting
the last machine pistol -- the cool looking one. I shot about half the
clip, and the T-Rex finally died! Whoo hoo!
I have another 'find the key card' question: where the hell is the GREEN
key card? It's the one I need to leave the harbor area and go on up the
mountain, presumably to the comm center at the top. Actually, I went to
all that trouble to kill the T-Rex because I couldn't find the green key
card anywhere, and I figured maybe I was 'supposed' to kill the T-Rex on
account of the green key card being near the Stegasaurus or something.
NO SUCH LUCK. If you know where to find the thing, RSVP! TIA,

PS =- Bugs? What bugs are there? I really didn't notice any.
Why was the white key there? If you go to the second floor you'll see a
poster on the wall. It's a picture of Ursa Major (a constellation in the
sky). The north star is circled. Now look at the cattle prod at the
window. Take the cattle prod and look out the window. Wow, surprise! The
rocks are positioned just like Ursa Major and look, the north star! I'm
sure the cattle prod was at the window so that you would look out.
Apparently not many people did.
Check the blackboard in one of the office buildings... then look around
the grounds. You will need to work for it but it is there.
Aha! That explains it. So before he evacuated the complex, Hammond consulted
his Ursa Major poster, made sure the rock formation in his back yard was
just perfect, ran out there and dropped a key card in the north star
position so that anyone else that happened by would be able to find it --
provided they solved the puzzle. It must have been to fool those crafty
raptors. :)
I'm not knocking it, it just seemed to be an odd place for such a puzzle,
considering most of the clues/solutions were scrawled messages and such up
to that point.
Gus
Thanks!
That's too funny. I actually thought that it was the best puzzle out of
all of them and found it very clever.

Since you put it that way, yes it was a weird place for it. However, it
was effective enough.
