I have been to all the ages and brought back all the pages except . . .

I can't seem to do a thing with the rocket ship 'puzzle'. I read the
book in the library and copied down which keys to play on the keyboard.
I have power to the rocket ship, can get inside and play the keyboard and
move the levers at the front.

I've set the levers to match the keys on the keyboard, by moving up to
the correct position (which I verified from a walk-through on a www page).

After playing the notes on the keyboard first (in order) and then setting
the levers, pulling the handle doesn't do anything. Have I missed a step here?
Does the door to the rocket ship need to be closed? If so, how? I've
racked my brains for a while on this one and would appreciate any help I
could get.

Thanks in advance.

Just somethings to check. You may have done all of these.

Possible solutions: Did you climb the poles and hit the switches on top?
Are you sure the levers are matched to the keys?
Do you have the correct voltage in the generator room?

THe SKuLL!!
P.S. The door will close when the spaceship starts up.

Are you sure you have the right keys on the keyboard? It doesn't matter if you
first hit the keyboard, then set the levers, then pull the handle. It
matters that you have to right notes in the right order. Try setting
the levers one by one. Go the the keyboard, hit the first note, then
set the first lever. Back to the keyboard, hit the second note, then
set the second lever....and so on. The first note is designated 1 in
the book. The first lever is the first one from the left.

The door will close when you are done.

What am I missing...the door won't close for me.
I've checked and rechecked the notes 3 times,
and pulled the lever down each time. The door
should close at that point? The voltage is 59,
the breaker is set, the map pointer is on the
spaceship, so I'm considering myself "stuck".

You can ignore what the doors will do, where the map pointer points &
playing the organ. What's important is the correct sequence of notes on
the sliders before pulling the lever. When you've got the notes correct &
pulled the lever, a flying book video sequence will show in the
'porthole'-like window above the slider panel (the switches you have to
set).

The sliders, at least in my experience, are VERY SENSITIVE. If you count
the number of keys from left to right for each tone, you'll get the
half-steps for each, which correspond to each 'step' on the sliders.
E.g., count the number of keys up to the tone marked '1', If you get,
e.g., 9 half-steps, that'll be 9 'steps' up the first slider. When you
drag the slider up the 9 'steps', release the mouse button without moving
the mouse AT ALL. I found that with my musical experience, I still wasn't
making it work. When I went back to check the sliders, I noticed most of
them had slipped up or down 1 or 2 'steps'. Apparently, each 'step' is
very close to the next & a little bit of movement in the mouse caused
the sliders to misalign as I released the mouse button.

That's all I can see.
