Bladerunner big BUG!

I think I've found a glitch in the Bladerunner sequence logic. The
first time I played the game I got as far as the Fat Cook attacking me
on the rooftop (I happend to be reading the manual at the time so I
died!) Well, after starting a new game I have yet have to Cook ever try
to dump the green shit on me again. I have been everywhere in the game
talking to everyone, clicking every item, and searching all the photos
on the esper, the game does not want to go any further. The Cook is
stuck in the kitchen at Howie's and When I click on him, my guy just
says "Stick around...". Have flown around for over an hour doing
everything imaginable to avail. I can start a new game and this happens
every time. Anyone else have this happen?

Have you gone to the lab guy and found out some of the animals were
killed with a butcher knife (clue leading you to chef) or had the
officer in the opening scene case the crowd while you go in and talk
to the shop owner? Then when you come back out the cop tells you Lucy
was seen with a big guy (chef clue). Also, try taking to the chef in
the mode where you can pick your own questions and ask to VK him.
Finally, there's to clues in you can get in the Esper that lead you to
Chubby - a chinese menu on the desk in back and a pic of Lucy you can
show to the restaurant owner and then the chef. But, Lucy is hidden
pretty well.

I had this happen. He did it once, then wouldn't do it again when I
replayed it. Took me over an hour to figure it out. What you have to do
is follow him immediately after he starts walking back to the kitchen.
As soon as he turns around to leave, stop everything else and go with
him. Then he should dump the soup on you again.

You seem to know this game well so maybe you can bail me out before I
start all over again. I am unable to end Act III. Decora (sp) just asks
me what I want and I cannot respond, only wait until the goon throws me
out, but no video plays. I have two guys in jail. I have found the
projection room (nothing in it) and the hall of mirrors (empty). I
killed the bum by mistake. My boss and the lab guy are not there
anymore. the prisoners don't have anything more to say. I have 3 video
disks to review. Lucy is not around. The bomb blew up some guy and the
room he was in is a mess with a door that won't open. The nightclub has
an elevator in the first show room, but I can't get it to let me in (the
goon again). There is nothing more in the Bradberry hotel or Corp HQ.
So what am I missing ? should I just start again? Heeeeelp

This seems to indicate that you're missing information. This prevents you
from knowing what to talk about.

Sometimes, killing people, or failing to save them in a dangerous situation
(hint, hint! <g>) can make the game harder to play (as you have to find
information to continue elsewhere). I haven't heard of people completely
blocked
yet (except in what seemed to be a bug during Act I, although this isn't
100% sure).
In any case, if it becomes too hard, you might come back to a previous
saved game
and re-play a bit differently.

I've only played the game through once but, in Act 3, you should still have
access to
your appartment and the police station, right? Are these disks you have had
since the
start of the game? Have you used the station mainframe and Esper station
already?

I'm not sure you should restart but make sure you study all the information
and pictures you have, this should open up new places to go and new persons
to see. Also, don't hesitate, once you find something new, to go back and
talk to the people you have already met.

I know all this is pretty vague but I hope that it will still give you
enough of a push in the right direction.
