Runaway: A Road Adventure <- Problems running the game

I was wondering if anybody has this problem.

I perform a full install of the game, then run it.

A dialog box appears with the "Primary Display" selected.

I click ok.

Then the entire screen goes black with a small CD icon on the lower left.
Then it drops back to the desktop.

Any ideas?

Have you installed the Truemotion video codec? I had a similar problem with
the demo until I installed the codec. It should be on the game discs
somewhere, and it's also available here: www.tinyurl.com/jk2x

Yes, I installed the Truemotion codec. The game still crashes to the
desktop after displaying a black screen.

Anyone else have any suggestions?
