About the only help I can give is that you are playing against Stauff. You
have to get to the hole on the lower right and he's trying to get to the
hole on the upper left. It's kinda like chess....He's trying to destroy your
path and you have to try an destroy his path when it looks like he's about
to win.

Hope this helps,
Brian

Good. I was wondering if I should follow up with a detailed explanation or
not on playing that puzzle.

It is one of the tricky ones.....but I think it's pretty good fun.

Graeme.

Yeah..I was annoyed at that one too. Finally somehow I just clicked a few
times correctly and got it. :)

PS- I think just clicking a couple times randomly rather then
stratagically may help a bit. I dunno why.

Please DO follow up with a detailed explanation!! Although I solved it
(after MANY attempts), I still don't know how the hell I did it. Stauf was
right on the money when he said, "You just got lucky!"

No I think that you should follow up with a detailed note about
playing this puzzle :-) . I can't get it, the psychic ally has failed
to do it 10 times in a row (once stauff beat her in 5 moves) and
I'm ready to move on to something a bit more interesting. All day
on one puzzle leaves me a bit cold, I wish that there was a way
round the ones you really hate, as in the 7th guest and the damned
microscope. So please - if the hintmaster can't do it, what is the
secret?

There is a way. Have your psychic ally solve it for you. Keep pushing the
Help button till she offers. Accept her help. Sure she's a woman. And a
smart one too. There is no shame in it. :-)
