MI3: Curse of Monkey Island, Help Needed ** Spoilers **

I am stuck and going against my own best advice but what is an
adventurer to do? There is an ID (apparently in the chicken in the
restaurant) that I cannot get to. I can't figure out how to eat the
biscuit in order to get the maggots to use on the chicken. The
biscuit does not hi-light when I select it on myself to eat.

Secondly, and similarly, I cannot get the gold tooth out of the
restaurant. I'm suppose to chew some gum breath the helium from the
last balloon and put the tooth in the bubble gum balloon I blow which
was what the pirate did with the tooth. The balloon probably sails
out the open window and ends up in the mud puddle. But just like the
biscuit, I have not figured out how to chew any gum or breath any
helium from the balloon.

My guess is that the game is making certain that things are done
in a precise order in order to avoid a no win situation.

Any clues/help/answers on handling this biscuit and tooth
business would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. I just got one
idea I have not tried with the balloon to get the tooth. Perhaps I
can interject the helium into the pirate's gum bubble?

In the meantime I will go back to Tomb Raider II while I wait for
other answers to develop.

The answer to your problems is simple. Instead of selecting the item
and using it on Guybrush, hold down your mouse button when
highlighting the item and choose the "Eat/Chew" action (the mouth).
Have fun.

Hi,

I assume that you don't know how to EAT and INHALE.
Try to use the pointer to highlight the biscuit.
When you see the coil, try to move the pointer to the bird.
Then you can eat the biscuit...and some maggots will come out...ewwww..
The same as chewing gum and inhale helium.
If you need more info, send mail to me.

Spoiler!!

Click on it and try to eat it inside your inventory box.

Pop the balloon wth the voodoo pin, then pick up the tooth, the chew
some gum, put the chewwed gum with the tooth. Now chew that and put
your helium balloon with your chewed gum.

Hope that works haven't played in a bit. :)
