[This is regarding the computer game for DOS]

I cannot figure out how to get through the map room inside the Star League
Cache. I guess I am supposed to touch a few stars as if they were some
secret combination and then hit the terminal in the left wall, but there
are just too many combinations. I remember that when I entered the cache,
Jeremiah said in his note that he gave a map that would help me through
the map room, but so far in the game I have not received such map, and now
I cannot exit the cache to go looking for it. Any hints appreciated.

Unless you pirated the game, you had the map before you ever turned on
your computer. Documentation, my friend. Your answer is in the form
of a question (mark).

(It took me forever to figure that one out, too.)

The map he mentioned won't come into play until you solve (most) of
those door lock combinations... look at the map in the manual and note that
some of them have a green blob-shape on them--when you reach a certain
room, you will understand :)
The door locks are annoying, but you'll get them figured out...

Look in your manual - there is a map there, with certain stars marked
in a certain way. These are the stars you need to travel, in order.

You need to step on the stars that are highlighted in the map of the Inner
Sphere in the manual. If you don't have the manual, here they are in the
order that they should be stepped on:

Pesht
Benjamin
Skye
Ryerson
Kathil

Achernar

This is for the Apple IIe version of the game, but I don't think it will
be different. If that doesn't work, try stepping on them in reverse order
and make sure you step on each star only once. Sometimes if you walk
across them with you party, one guy will select it and another guy will
deselect it.

Try looking at the map in the manual, the planets that are 'dark' are
the ones you must touch. =)

check your book, there's a star map in it with the key. Of course I seem to
have lost my book, which is a problem. You're at the end by the way, that's
the last event, after that it moves to the next game that came on the CD (I
assume you got the 3 game cd activision/powerhits sold off a few months
ago)

Well, assuming you recieved the game from the old Activision Power
Hits boxed
set, the map you are looking for is in the manual. : )

Hi there!
If U still have the manual 4 the game there is a map in it -
IIRC all
the stars in the shaded area of the map need 2 B touched or tagged or
whatever. Email me if U have any probs. Good luck.
