The Dig: Maggie's been taken, Brink's with me, where is she?

Ok, I've got Brink with me, and I've looked in every area of every
spire, or at least I _think_ I have. Where is she, and how do I find
her? The hint line says something about asking Brink to distract the
spider, and Boston moving a pointed rock by a waterfall, etc., but
this is happening for me, I'm not seeing the spider. Another user
told me to get Brink and go back to the nest, but I don't see a nest
anywhere. Is there something I have to do to make the nest visible?

Also, what is the "Strange Field" in the map spire, and what do I do
with it?

don't worry about the strange field now. The spider and maggie are in the
nest on the map spire. The entrance is of the screen and to the left.
Go to the entrance of the map spire, where you go in after climbing the
mountain. It is to the left of there.

The strange field will come in later, first save maggie. You talk
about the map spire. From the tram to tht map spire, walk inside the
cave. Then, go left (you've probably gone right until now). There's
the nest.

The Nest is in the map spire. You can access it from a room where
there are two exits, plus a third hidden one on the left (try to move
Brink to the left, and the display will scroll).

You need Maggie's help to make the Strange Field to domething
interesting...

I forget which spire its in, but it might be the map spire.
The nest is off to the left of the screen and is not obvious.
The screen which gets you to the nest has an entrance to the
light bridge on the top and another entrance to the right (a
cave i think) which is obvious. walk to the left at this
screen!
