I've just solved the can puzzle in the kitchen on 7th guest, but I still can't get the bisop puzzle.
I can only get three of the four white bishops across to the other side, as well as three black
ones, but I can't get the last two across. Can anybody help me?

Don't try to do both colors at once. Do all of the black, then do
all of the white.

Bishop Puzzle Solution

You need to move the bishops on the same color at the same time (i.e. move
all 4 of the bishops on the white squares first, and then do the ones on
the black squares). As I remember it the chessboard is 5 squares wide and
4 squares long. So, if you label it like this...

12345
A
B
C
D

The solution of moves is...

D1 -> C2
B5 -> C4
C2 -> A4
B1 -> C2
C4 -> A2
C2 -> D3
A4 -> B5
A2 -> B3
B3 -> D1
D3 -> B1
B5 -> D3
D5 -> B3
B3 -> A4
B1 -> A2
D3 -> C4
A4 -> C2
C4 -> B5
A2 -> D5
C2 -> B1

This pattern will exchange two black bishops with two white bishops, to
exchange the other two sets of bishops simply re-label the chessboard...

12345
D
C
B
A

and follow the pattern.

Happy Trails

I don't know if you are really smart with puzzles, but all I recommend is
