Shadow of the Comet... buy?

I'm wondering if "Shadow of the Comet" is a good game. I'm really into horror and the game, to me, gives off
that effect from the IE review. Thanks!

If I were you, I'd get Alone in the Dark... it also covers the dark horror of
the Cthulu mythos, but has better graphics, and sound, and IMO gels together
to provide a more convincing atmosphere... Shadow the Comet is OK, if you have
AITD, but let down by the voices on the CD version.. just try listing to
someone yelling. 'No, Parker, Noooooooooooooooooo', and dying, in a near
monotone voice..and some of the puzzles are a little obscure....
