2009 GameStooge Award nominations announced

Developer Rocksteady's thrilling adaptation of the Dark Knight, Batman:
Arkham Asylum, leads all nominated games with an astounding 13 nominations,
far out-pacing the second most nominated game, the surprising Popcap Games
hit Plants Vs. Zombies, with seven nominations. Other games which received
seven nominations included Assassin's Creed II and the highest grossing game
in history Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Other notable game nominations
include Dragon Age: Origins , and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves with six, and
four each for the expansion Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City
(with The Ballad of Gay Tony alone receiving three of the nominations),
Bungie's sequel Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Telltale Games'
adventure series Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures.
This year, the nominations for the Best Game of the Year are:
