HH>AAAUGGGHH!!!!!!
HH>I knew it!! I knew it!!
HH>I should've learned my lesson after getting KQ7. All the bugs in
HH>that game wer e
HH>incredible but at least none of them prevented me from finishing the
HH>game. I'v e
HH>encountered a bug in Space Quest 6 which will not allow me to go any
HH>further. I'm in
HH>the stomach area of Santiago. Problem is, I have everything I need
HH>now, I have to
HH>just get past that tapeworm. Thing is, I need the pill and I also
HH>need the gallstones (for later). The PROBLEM is that I CAN'T GET
HH>EITHER ITEM!!! Whenev er, I
HH>place the hand icon over either item and press the mouse button it
HH>gives me a l ittle
HH>circle with a slash through it (whatever that symbol's called). The
HH>two items aren't
HH>even acknowledged as being there (when I try to look at them with the
HH>eye icon,
HH>nothing happens). I'm going to try to get past it for one more day
HH>and then if
HH>nothing works, I AM SENDING this DAMN GAME back to Sierra! I've
HH>taken enough o f
HH>their CRAP!! If they're going to release a game, they should have
HH>the decency to
HH>thoroughly test out the game before sending it out. And besides
HH>that, I find i t VERY
HH>annoying that I have to restart windows in 256 color mode everytime I
HH>want to p lay
HH>the game. I mean, anybody who has a computer fast enough to play
HH>this game in Windows will have a video card capable of displaying 16
HH>bit color at the very least.
HH> Seriously PISSED OFF,
HH> Hahn
HH>
How did you get that far??
I'm still stuck on Polysorbate LX.....going in to my room in the motel i
get taken away by two goons....
now i'm in their room with no way out. All i have is the crystal from
the datacorder.
What do you do...or is this another bug!!??

CMPQwk #1.4 UNREGISTERED EVALUATION COPY
AMEN! I have run into similar bugs in Sierra's games, at least 4 of
them so far (have not got very far into KQ7). One thing for sure, i
will not be buying anymore of their products. Maybe if enough of us
refuse to they'll start Beta-testing their products properly, and quit
rushing them to market!
