Need help with Spy Fox 2: Some Assembly Required

I have gotten a copy of this game for my kids to play on the computer.
We are not stuck at a point where we do not know where to go. The
gadgets we have left are
1. Alarm deactivator.
2. Vacuum cleaner.
3. Termmite grenade.

We have found to off switch to the dog-bot and returned it to the
venus flytrap growing room, but we cannot fingure out how to release
the flies for the flytraps to eat so they will release the off switch.

Help. We have searched the entire fair grounds and can find no where
that any of the gadgets above can be used?

There is a button to press in the corridor near by, which will release the
flies.

The game offers two paths to complete the game, the path is chosen at random
when game starts. So it is normal for some spy gadgets to be unused during
the game.
