I've been playing TLJ for a week or so now - quite enjoying it.
Unfortunately I've now run into a game-breaking crash bug. I'm near the
underwater city, and whenever I click on the Stone Altar the game briefly
shows me the "close-up" shot and then immediately crashes to desktop. I've
reinstalled the game, messed with all the graphic and sound options, and no
luck at all. Crashes on me every time. Any ideas??

AMDXP2200+
Nvidia GeForce4 4600 Video
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Sound

Thanks,
Kevin

There are no patches for the game as yet, are there? I never got this bug on

Easiest solution: get someone to give you a savegame just past the altar.
IIRC, the solution to the altar was bugged & not much 'fun' anyway ;-)

Heh. Thanks,

Ended up discovering through massive tweaking that it was the sound.
Turned off sound effects long enough to get past that one puzzle, then
turned them back on once I was past it. No problems since.

Go figure.

Thanks though,
Kevin Murphy
