Hi there

I was playing Syberia- the Aralbad piece yesterday. Right after making the
cocktail for Helena Romanski my pc crashed. Today I replayed the area. I
wanted to save time and tried getting through the level as quickly as
possible. However, at one time you have to enter the access code 1270 to get
another door to open and have two men appear while playing chess in a pool.
I skipped this and entered the real code being 0986 (I remembered this)
rightaway. Now i'm stuck. I need to have my honey de-cristallized but this
doesn't work because the two men are not there in the pool, because i did
not enter the 1270 code before the 0968 code. There's no way of fixing this,
apart from replaying Syberia from the very beginning. This because (stupid
me) I always use 1 saved game, and I don't have a saved game that is useful.
Can anyone help me by sending me a saved game, f.i. one to replay Aralbad?
Please help me!
Thanks in advance!

I don't recall having to enter (or even having) two different codes. And the
men in the pool seemed like a silly, unnecessary piece as they didn't really
do anything except ignore you. Are you sure you can't just go to the hot tub
(not the pool with the men) turn it on and take care of your honey?

Hard lesson to learn... never use a single save unless you don't mind the
risk of starting over from scratch. The ones for Syberia are tiny, all of 60
or 70K, so don't worry about eating up disk space. BTW, if you really end up
needing one, I probably have a save I can send you.

Hi Saskia,

Glad to hear everything worked out OK in the end. For future
reference, you might consider keeping this URL handy. I heard of it
just recently, and have added it to my collection.
