I'm running Serious Sam in Win2k with a GeForce 2 and Detonator drivers
23.11.
I have the latest 1.05 patch for Serious Sam installed as well. Vsync does
not seem
to work and tearing is very noticeable. When I set the option for vysnc in
the game,
it changes back to custom and unfortunately does not work. Does anyone have
a solution
to correct this?

I have the same problem with Serious Sam.

Version 1.0 worked fine when "Wait for vertical sync" was enabled, but now it changes to "custom" every time I try to set it on "Yes". Under "OpenGL settings" in the Detonator driver vsync is "on by default", but Serious Sam does not use this setting.

Also, I do not have any shadows anymore, although I have selected "Shadows: Complex (multiple lights)". Enemies still have shadows and in cutscenes, Sam has too, but it is a shame that it does not work in-game anymore.

Greetz,
Ronald
