The Official Weapons List for DOOM:
1. Fist Attack - excellent demon punchin' fun
* WITH BLOOD! *
2. Pistol - like Wolf3D
3. Shotgun - more damage, a little slower
4. Chaingun - like Wolf3D
5. Missile Launcher!
6. Plasma Rifle
7. BFG9000 - it's not a pretty sight when this goes
off!

DOOM will also run in 2 megs of memory, no problem. If
you have more, DOOM will run even better.

John likes to be abused so I had him subscribe to c.s.i.p.g.a. :)

Now, let's take that wall out.
KAAABOOOOMMMM!!!!

Umm, this starts to sound better everyday.

BTW: How about a light personnel carrier?
You know, threaded and all so you can run over all
those ugly beasts? ;]

Well, maybe in DOOM 2 ;)

Yeah! Now more of my friends can play it too.
Hmm, we should all get Novell and split the cost?

WHAT???????? NO CHAINSAW????? :(

Drat!

I hope that Plasma Rifle has a telescopic sight, for sniper work.
Think of it; a squad of soldiers isn't going to all be at the same distance
from the baddies. And with the "fire cones" of the weapons, it'll be pretty
hard to avoid toasting your buddies if you are a bit furter back. Of course,
you could sidestep (wolf strafe mode) and try to waste the baddies from a
different angle, but, you might get toasted from behind by someone who HAS a
clear line of fire. What is needed is a "surgical" (god, I love that term:)
method of wasting demons from a distance: a weapon with an extremely narrow
fire cone, so that someone can stay right back out of the action, and not get
tangled up in the action, and still remain very useful. This would necessitate
the use of a telescopic sight on the weapon, so the sniper can manage to target
this narrow fire cone from distance.

Of course, rifle ammo should be rare, to prevent over-use of long-range firing
in safety, or if ammo is universally used in every weapon, then give it a slow
rate of fire.

My $2E-02 worth.

Doomsday is coming!!
