Oh. Sorry. I see what you mean. No, you can't play from the other side of the

Well, in multiplayer, if everyone was American it would be a bit one-sided.
Actually, now that I am thinking of it, I think there is a few scripts
around that let you play the single player game as the venom soldier. Might
be a few others around too.

In multiplayer you can play as a German fighting Americans (Axis VS Allied).
In Single Player, it's just B.J. against the SS and Wehrmacht.

there are still plenty of sympathisers around. And there are still Italians
around who declare that they aren't "fucking Yankees" and want to shoot

Nope. Once again... the guy stated "I want to shoot American soldiers", not
"I want to play the Axis" or somesuch. It's the killing of American
soldiers he emphasized, which is an odd way to phrase the request even for a
non-native English speaker. Then he states "I'm not a fucking Yankee".
Looks like he's got some issues down there along the Appenines.
