Has anybody found where the "A" and "C" keys are mapped in the default
configuration? I can't seem to disable the defaults. The "C" is the
default switch between the 1st person and 3rd person mode and the "A" seems
to be set for "Auotpilot" - even though I find no mention of it in the
manuals.

I use the "A" for turn left - it works, but I get an annoying beep and
warning "Autopilot is not available" or somesuch. "C" I want to map to
crouch but without being able to disable the default, I'm reluctant to try
(crashes mid game I can do without).

Overall I like the game. It may not be the finest graphics - but they are
good. And gameplay is a lot of fun - take that cadet Timmons (you little
suck-up)!

My System -
Homebuilt Pentium 233 MMX (overclocked to 266), 512K cache
64MB SDRAM
Monster 3D (3Dfx)
SB 16 PnP

From any screen before you enter battle, hit the escape key and you'll see
"cockpit controls". You can re-map all the keyboard commands from there.

You can map any key from here BUT you can not UNmap the A and C keys from
their defaults because they are not listed! I've looked long and hard in
all the screens - if you've found the default locations please give me the
exact location.

Oh. Sorry, I misunderstood you. I haven't actually remapped those keys.
That's weird, though. I wonder why those keys aren't listed ??

Thanks Will. Editing the 'gamekey.map' file did the trick! You can edit it
with any text editor. It has a warning "edit at your own risk" but anyone
with the smallest amount of programming knowledge (like me) should have no
trouble with it.
