Hi,

I loved CoD and so was wondering how accurate the min specs are on
CoD2.
I have a Dell inspiron 8100 running at 1.2GHz PIII, 512Mb ram and a
64Mb GF4Go.
Anyone attempted to run CoD2 on a machine of similar vintage with any
success?
Dont graduate for another year so no chance of an upgrade in the near
future!

Cheers

Have found the pre-release demo available for download - it works fine
- runs really well with the lowest graphics (havent tried turning them
up). It is a map involving a town with docks and you have to fight your
way through.

If that runs OK, will the rest of the game probably be OK or is the
rest of the game much more graphically intense?

If the demo runs okay for you - give the full game a go and tell us how you
get on. Personally I would have expected it to be unplayable on your system.

Watch out for the Graphics Options Texture sub-menu...a High setting here
made it impossible on my much faster system..

Well, I was surprised! That is why I was wondering if the graphical
intensity of the demo was representative of the whole game.

Dont really want to buy it, only to find that the rest of the game is
much more intensive and my PC cant cope.

Haven't finished playing it but the demo seems representative so far...
