Can somebody kindly tell me what directory *.sav files are stored in ?
Thanks
Nick
Sounds like somebody is playing the pirated version...:)
I believe that what you need to do is create a \savegame\ directory
somewhere...
Magnus
I'm using that one too.. Create the dir \SWARS\QDATA\SAVEGAME
Pretty good game, I'm going to buy it (After spending over $200 on
SHIT games over the years, I try them first)
I dunno if this will help... But I find its a common error to hit enter and expect this game to save. In Syn
Wars it wont work. U have to type the name and hit the save button on screen. Good luck!

For me it's \Swars\Qdata\Savegame\ and I had aggravating difficulty
with the way their savegame works. If you type the name and hit
return you may feel that you have saved when in fact you have not.
You must explicitly hit the Save button after you enter the savename.
This is one of several things I didn't like about the game. Actually
my big problem with the game is that there is no in-mission save.
Overall I wound up having a fairly negative opinion of Bullfrog's
design team on this one. I felt it was a near-great game, but
undermined by arcadish design choices that spoiled my
frustration-to-fun ratio. Somewhere along the line I picked up the
notion that this is kind of a European style thing, so maybe my
problem is cultural. I'm American (and I'm beginning to suspect that
I'm ugly). Oh, and I'm really not taking a swipe at Europe, honest.
Shutting up now,
