I havent played screamer, but trust me nfs is good, especially because of the way the tracks
can be changed. It needs more cars to choose from to drive.

I bought NFS when it came out(december?) and I've had it on my hard drive ever
since. I play it very regularly and its such a blast. From what I've heard
screamer lacks in realism. A NFS car handles the way the same car would handle
one the road(acceleration, cornering etc.). In fact the physics of the game is
fabulous. A lighter car will tend to leave the ground over smaller bumps a high
speed whereas the heavier cars stay touching. If you're going over a bump and
cornering you'll notice that you loose traction at the apex of the bump. ANyway
this is a fantastic game and I'd highly recommend it. Can't wait till EA comes
out with the sequal.

I have Screamer and I got bored of it very quickly. It's an arcade
game, *just* like Cruisin' and Outrun. And you need 16 megs RAM
minimum to run it, and better have P-120 or better, if you wanna run
it in hi-res.

Screamer is a pretty fun game to play networked,
but you do need alot of CPU power to run it in
high-res. You only need 8 megs to run the game
in low res, and 12 to run it in SVGA.
