the CD-version will take a while to develop, it's under construction now.
All the levels will be redone (graphics+touches), more enemies will be
added, more special moves will be available PLUS you will get 3 more
episodes. All the users who registered the normal game will have a discount
offer in their mail as soon as the Jazz-CD is out.

consider the Jazz-CD the 'TURBO' version, just like Streetfighter 2 turbo.
If you want to wait, I can't blame you.

I have just recieved the Jazz JackRabbit registered version.

IF YOU HAVE A CD ROM DRIVE DO NOT BUY THE REGISTERED VERSION - WAIT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The reason I say this is that there is a CD rom version being done by another
company.. It is mentioned _briefly_ in the Jazz manual... I just called Epic
and they said the CD version 'WILL HAVE THE SAME 6 LEVELS AS THE DISK ONE AND
OTHER NEW LEVELS........"
At the moment there is no chance of exchaning the disk for the CD when it
comes out... This means that if you have a CD drive and would like to benefit
from the extra levels, and you have ordered the disk registered version,
CANCEL NOW !!!! or you'll end up loosing money..
I just spent 29.99 english pounds on all 6 levels, to learn that there will
soon (before Dec) be the same game with extra levels on CD!!!!!!!
This really pisses me off. I really wish that Epic would tell us what is going
on. There was NO mention of a CD version in any documents....WHY NOT!!!!!!
I loved Jazz, thats why I wanted to get the full version, but I am a bit mad
that if I had know, or was TOLD, I could have waited for more levels and the
same ones, on a CD, probably for about 10 quid more. This is not much, but if
you buy the disk, and then the CD, you pay TWICE, and the disk based will be
put in the cupboard forever.....
Tell Epic what you think..... E-mail them at:
70007...@compuserve.com
Tell them now....
