Hey folks,

I'm wondering if anybody is able to get a joystick to work with this
game. There is a calibration screen that allows me to "set up" my
Thrustmaster, but it doesn't seem to be active when I try to play. Am I
missing something? Also, is it a good idea to play a driving-type game
with a joystick? It seems to me that this would be preferable to using
the numeric keypad....

In the Carma controls setup menu arrow to the selection u want to
change then hit enter then move your joystick.

Steering is very sensitive with joystick. Game is great with a wheel
tho.

In the configuration (someone had to tell me this too) use the cursor
keys to go to the movement you want to set, press <enter> then move the
joystick or press the appropriate button.

Remember, SMALL movements on the joystick, just like small movements of
the steering wheel. I found the best config was like this:

accelerate: joy1 button 1
decelerate/brake: joy1 button 2
handbrake: left shift
spin: left alt

This is so my right hand controls the car, and the left hand forms to the
nontypical controls (which become very useful in Carmageddon)
