Which one is faster: Voodoo 2 SLI or Voodoo3 (3000)

not find any. Any ideas for gurus in this ng

Voodoo3 3000 even faster .I can tell u r looking for a low cost upgrade but
the Voodoo3 series is over a year old now. Soon, very, very soon the Voodoo4
is comming out which is a less powerful Voodoo5 but will cost about half as
much. It's a lot more powerful than any Voodoo3 and it can do FSAA. In case
u wanted a Voodoo3 because u don't want to replace your AGP card and u want
to use your PCI slots, both the Voodoo5 and Voodoo4 also come in PCI
versions.

Not quite. A single V2 is 90MPix/180MTex, 2 V2's in SLI are 180MPix/360MTex,
while a V3-2000 is 144MPix/288MTex and a V3-3000 is 166MPix/333MTex.
In practice, the V3's are faster because of their greater amount of
onboard RAM and AGP interface (where available), but not that much
compared to SLI. 22-bit filtering is a nice feature tho.

It's only about 10-20% faster than a V3-3000, so it's questionable whether
it's worth its MSRP of $179. You can forget about FSAA with this card --
even if it *can* do FSAA (which I doubt), in anti-aliased modes its performance
would equal the original Voodoo Graphics' at best.

Probably. Speed increase wouldn't be so great, but more memory results
in less stutter, and the V4 offers some significant picture quality and
compatibility enhancements. Of course, you could simply get a TNT2(Ultra)
with almost the same features and a significantly smaller price :).
