Not being a smart ass or anything saying you should of read the FAQ. I'm
just quoting it because I think it will answer your question.

From the Duke Nukem 3D FAQ....

3. When Will Duke Nukem 3D Be Released?

No offical release date as been posted by 3D Realms. The Apogee FAQ
claims the release date is Summer 1995. George Broussard, Pres. of 3D
Realms, claims by September. I'd say to be safe don't get your hopes up
of seeing this game before November, even though it should be out before
then. I've seen more then a few games be delayed.

Somehow, I'd believe George over a magazine article <g>. Especially since
articles are written at least 3 months before the magazine ships. In this
industry, that's a long time and timelines change.

The August date mentioned in the writeup comes from George Broussard. In
fact, he indicated they were pushing for July, but that August seemed more
likely.

Really? That's pretty impressive (I've never heard of any pulp magazine

Right :) Our official release date is "when it's done". It will be out
this year though.
