What for you, have always been the best (serious or humorous) thing/s
about PC action gaming, compared to other leisure entertainments (such
as watching TV or a DVD,
book reading, having sex, or exercising (not that any of those valuable
things suck of course).

according to the press I should be a serial killer away from my pc, as I
like to let off steam with mindless and humorous ways of killing a lot of
ppl on screen

Why is it that no matter what colour of bubble bath you use the bubbles
are always white?

Sounds more like your job is an excuse to get top end gaming rigs subsidised
;)

Unlike most of the things cited, it's interactive and requires active
thought.

Sex isn't always available - if I only played games once or twice a month I
would throw away the PC - pity it isn't as simple with a wife.

LOL !!! Maybe she would be more responsive if you did throw away the
PC, at least your gaming one. You could try the experiment.... at your
own risk of course.

For me, it's to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to
hear the lamentation of their women.

Nah, think it might work out better for my sanity to do it the other way
around!

What I like best about PC games is being able to modify the game to suit MY
gamestyle by editing .ini files and such. Being able to modify huds, controls,
fov and tweak the graphics etc.. Renaming logo movies to skip at every launch is
nice too. Downloading extra levels, mods, hacks you just can't do this sort of
thing with consoles.. they are "locked" so to speak. (yeah. i know you can get
more content with xbox 360 and Live but you know what i mean.. UT and HL user
created stuff like that. )
