Outlaws 2.0 civil war mission

I'm stuck in a house with a bookcase, and I can't figure
out what to do in order to finish. Something to do with the bookcase I'm sure.
Need a little help here. Thanks in advance.

You sure you don't mean the Spanish Villa mission? If so...
The answer to the bookcase puzzle (which opens the passage the catacombs
below the villa) is in plain sight from the room the bookcase is in. Have
a look around you.
Also, the puzzle is pretty dumb, because you can solve it by just pushing
lettered books until one moves. Keep doing that until they've all been
moved and the puzzle's solved.
I can't remember any bookcase weirdness in the Civil War mission.

No it's the civil war mission. Maybe the room with the
bookcase is a red herring. But in another house there is a bar and underneath
the bar is a button, but no matter how fast I race around I can't figure out
what this is opening . This is probably what's holding me up.
