I just got the infinity machine program by REM software
It does do what the ads state - asfar as I have looked so far

HOWEVER:
every time I make a change to autoexec.bat it tells me that
the configuration has changed and MUST re-install the program.

Is it me or have others found the same ''feature''

That`s part of its copy protection, you know, to make sure that
it won`t be easily transfered to other's PC.

If that's really copy protected that way, then that is stupid.
Almost every windows program when installing changes the autoexec.bat
file, and quite a few dos programs do that as well.

A slightly better way would be to copy the contents of the CMOS into
a file, and then check it against the current one. Then you would
have to re-install only when you get a new hard drive or something...

I use multi-config, one exclusively to use infinity which won`t be
changed often, to get around that problem.
BRM.
