Can't get my GamePad calibrated properly in DOOM.
I'm always stuck going around in circles or moving backwards.
I do the joystick config during the game startup as directed but to no avail.
I have used GRAVUTIL.EXE and it is able to configure and center the Pad
with no problem.

Any help is appreciated.

Do you have an auto speed sensing game card, (like the Kraft game card that
detects your processor speed and adjusts accordingly)? I had the exact
same problem with my GamePad until I used the software command to set the
game card down to its slowest speed (4 Mhz).

I have found a way (Actually have been told a way) of fixing this.. What I
did was took doom v.99, copied DOOM.exe over the v1.1 exe, renamed the
DOOM.WAD to DOOM1.WAD, copied the SETUP.exe over v.1.1's and nuke dthe saved
games.. work great!
