Thanks for the useful information. I have discovered that the game
Silverfall uses the Tages copy protection scheme as well. I discovered
it because my Vista system reports on every bootup:

Code integrity determined that the image hash of a file is not valid.
The file could be corrupt due to unauthorized modification or the
invalid hash could indicate a potential disk device error.
File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume1\Windows\System32\drivers\atksgt.sys
File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume1\Windows\System32\drivers\lirsgt.sys

Yea, that's exactly what I did with Sherlock Holmes: The Awakening (has
Tages) as Vista 64bit wouldn't let the Tages malware install on Vista64
so I cracked the game instead of getting the updated Vista64 Tages software
and then emailed Tages and told them their DRM software is useless. Not
all games have a crack though, especially if the game has a newer patch
than the crack is for. Tages claims on their website that their DRM is
un-hackable so just had to set them straight.
