small spoiler aheader...

Does anybody know what the purpose with this evil twin sister.
According to the cut scene, she dies at the office tower in the
elevator but her body disappears. Then something dawns on Max and he
says that finally something is crystal clear? I never found out what
that is. Does anybody know?

My guess is that's a clue about the elevator lasers. I was thinking
that her body got vaporized or something.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see her in a follow-up, though.

Then again, it might just be one of the many loose threads in the mess that
passes for a story in this game. :)

Yeah. The story got more interesting for me in Part 2 but then got
dumb again as the game wore on. Actually, I think that because it got
more complicated I was interested in seeing how it came out. However,
the outcome wasn't original in any sense, or particulary interesting.

And the Norse mythology stuff -- I felt like I was getting beaten over
the head with it. It's like, "I get it already. Enough!"

That's okay since it is an ACTION game.

I like how the game comes full circle with the beginning and end having the same scene--nice closure.

She could not have been vaporized though. If the elevator had gone up
and come down then all the bombs would have been detonated already,
no?

Maybe she set them? Which also does not make much sense because she
could have killed you already.

Maybe she was trying to fake her death like that other guy tried to
fake his (what was the point of that anyway? Why would he want to try
to kill you if he wants you to do something for him?)

Thanks for clearing that up. I wondered why the damn comic book kept getting
interrupted.

Yeah, this one is hard to follow. Wasn't she the one who drugged Max at the
end of Part 1 to wake up to a baseball-bat beating? All points indicate that
she faked her death and set the mines. If she took the elevator to come down
to Max the mines couldn't have been there already.

This is not a good game: the great comics keep getting interrupted by some
shoot-em-up play... ;-)

I thought it was just the opposite. i.e. the comics felt like an
interruption to a very fun and addictive shooter. Not saying the comics are
bad...just that they feel like an interruption, sometimes.
