Is it just me , or have we been waiting for Epic's One Must Fall for about
forever now? Even that last Meganews post didn't have any useful info on
it. Just hope this game turns out well, so it'll be worth the wait.
Looks promising so far...

You want to talk about delays, let's talk Epic Baseball. How long has it
been since we've heard about that game in previews? A year, maybe? How
many upgrades and new games for baseball have been out since? I'm starting
to think this game is the bigggest piece of vaporware since that new line of
Apple II computers.

Actually, I found the shareware(?) version of Epic Basball on FTP many
months ago. The real/full game may not be done, but I've seen more of it
than I have of One Must Fall.<shrug>

Well! if you want to talk REALLY long delays, I remember a preview included
with the original "Commander Keen: Invasion of the Vorticons" for a 1st person
3D scrolling game called "The Fight for Justice". What is the subtitle for
QUAKE? You got it; "The Fight For Justice".

Just thought it was pretty amazing that they hadn't forgotten about that game
in the process of developing KEEN II, Wolf, and DOOM.

Doom was the Strike Commander of shareware. :) (Oh, no... Doom flames!)

Anyways, there are probably two more betas left of One Must Fall 2097. The
next beta test will be in a few days (after Jazz Jackrabbit dies down) and if
there IS another beta test... well, that'll depend on what turns up in this
next beta test.

I would expect it to be released in September and Compuserve's Game of the
Month in October.

Actually Jazz Jackrabbit was delayed for a while -- I first heard of it
when it was supposed to come out Feb 1994. (Same for Epic Baseball, BTW.)

out yet. linewars 2 and ugh! or whatever that caveman one was called.
