SYSTEM SHOCK: Interface Demodulators

I picked up a few of these on LEVEL 3. I'm using the CD version of
the game. I've read the manual, gone back over the manual several times.
Nowhere are these mentioned. So what are INTERFACE DEMODULATORS? And
what the heck do I do with them? Thanks...

Just the other night I did the same thing. They are not in the manual!
What are they for?????

Later in the game ...

Something will not work properly, you are sent to diagnostics,
then to the analyzer. The analyzer will tell you that an
INTERFACE DEMODULATOR is required to fix the something ...

Leave them where they are. You will need ONE later in the game. It will
be obvious. (I don't want to spoil everything !!)
