Next, open a Command Prompt (Start > Run > cmd), and go to the folder where you downloaded SP3 (cd \foldername). Type the command: servicepack filename /integrate:drive/path. In my example the command is WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe /integrate:E:\XP-CD.
Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) was the third and final service pack for Windows XP, superseding Service Pack 2. It was released to manufacturing on April 21, 2008, and to the public via the Microsoft Download Center and Windows Update on May 6, 2008. It began being pushed out to users who selected Automatic Updates on July 10, 2008.

I had to install two other updates before the service pack showed up. I think, it has about 70MB. Download was pretty fast in the beginning, but it then it got stuck, somehow. Installation was not a big deal. Unfortunately, I couldn't really make out this performance boost afterwards.
The first step towards the Virtual installation is to get an ISO image of this old operating system. As I mentioned above that it is free and avail by Microsoft itself officially along with License key. Thus, use this link which will open the page of Archive.org, where click on the ISO image link given on the right side under the Download section, this will allow you to download Windows XP Professional SP3 x86 ISO image. Just on the same page, the free but official professional key for the same will have been given. Copy that and jot down somewhere like NotePad.
So, we have now the ISO file of Windows XP professional 32-bit service pack 3, its time to get the Oracle VirtualBox. Here is the link to Download VBox. In case you already have the Vbox on your system then simply move to next.
The installation of the VBox is like any other executable software meant for Windows nothing will be complicated at all.
So I've gone ahead and downloaded a copy of the "professionals and developers" installer for SP3, which is a self-contained downloadable executable. I've backed that up in the same place I've backed up all my other patch files and installers and now, if I someday need it, I have it.

Yes, Im aware of that the system requirements is specified to work with service pack 3, but since I have the service pack 2, I was wondering if there are any significant difference between them or if Rhino 5 would work equally well with service pack 2.
Where can I find XP Service Pack 3 downloadfor full install? I want to install it on old hardware. I have a Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H motherboard. I tried installing the SB 750 driver during install of service pack 2 which is the only disk I have and it blue screened on the splash screen.
SP 2 is not a problem for most computers. That board has a chip set that does not jive with XP. At least SP 2. This makes installing a pain. I couldn't do it back than. This was when windows 7 was released. I think that the SB 710 is the only thing that can be installed during Windows XP installtion and not Service pack 3 as well. SP 3 needs to be on the installer when installing Windows XP. This is why I am digging. The Manual stated compatibility, but I have never gotten XP to work. It is a motherboard chip set issue.
I tried to download the Korean language pack from Microsoft, but it is apparently downloadable only by users with the most current Microsoft Office -- mine is very old. A Microsoft multilanguage support pack for IE5 will not install on my computer -- an error message comes up saying I need the later pack (which I cannot download because, in fact, I am *not* running the correct software.) And, anyhow, I am interested, at the moment in my browsers, not Office.
