I NEED a smaller hard drive for a 486/25 machine that I'm building for
no good reason other than I have the parts. I have several 1-2gig hard
drives, and I need one that's 200-500mb so the motherboard can
recognize it. Anybody got an old drive lying around? I'll trade ya one
of mine for one of yours!! Please send to my email as I do not check
Usenet amazingly often.

Thanks!

I've got plenty of Maxtor 540 MB HDs. But it is considered rude to ask
for replies by email. If you can't spend the time to check back for
followups, then we haven't got the time to reply. And SHAME ON YOU for
such a huge crossposting.

> Thanks!

----------------(from OED Mini-Dictionary)-----------------
PUNCTUATION - Apostrophe
Incorrect uses: (i) the apostrophe must not be used with a plural
where there is no possessive sense, as in ~tea's are served here~;
(ii) there is no such word as ~her's, our's, their's, your's~.

Confusions: it's = it is or it has (not 'belonging to it'); correct
uses are ~it's here~ (= it is here); ~it's gone~ (= it has gone);
but ~the dog wagged its tail~ (no apostrophe).

I have never heard it to be rude to request a reply by email, and I have
been using USENET since before most people ever heard of the internet. Since
in this transaction, personal information needs to be transferred, (like
phone numbers or email addresses), I would prefer to not have that sent to
USENET.

Sheesh, now are you going to tell me that top posting is rude? :)
