Greetings All...

Can anyone provide or point to a reference of keyboard commands used
in VT100 emulation when connected to an AS/400 via TCP/IP? I can telnet to my
400, but some of the finer points in keyboarding all disappear in VT100
emulation. Email replies appreciated, as my ISP regularly dumps the news
server! TIA...

Regards,

Steve

This is the default map used in V3R1M0 with a current set of ptf's - just
in case the map is any different in any other releases. This is VT100
mapping via an ethernet connection under tcp/ip from a VT420 emulator. On
a dial-up via the ascii controller many Ctl key commands are really Esc
key commands (roll up is EscU and roll down is EscD - other functions
follow same pattern).

We have a lot of people accessing via a tcp/ip connection thru a fsiop -
due to their primary computer being a VAX they are using VT320 or VT420
terminals or emulators. This map works like a champ for the emulators.

Hope it helps.

You might be having difficulty because the emulator you are using does
not support the proper escape sequences for a DEC LK250 or LK450 terminal.

Kermit-95, OS/2 C-Kermit, and MS-DOS Kermit all support the complete
LK250 keyboard command set in all modes as specified by the host application.
