My problems is to send a as400 file in text format as attach to an
e-mail with SNDDST. The problem is that the client receive the file
not-formatted, something like a unique sequence of all records.
Could anybody help me??
Tkanks.

Are you sending the e-mail to a non-AS/400 computer? If so you will need to
convert the file to ASCII first. Please provide more information if this is
not the case.

If you're interested in a commercial solution, take a look at our SMTP/400
Email API. You can email text messages, AS/400 files and IFS attachments
directly to your relay server without having to configure the AS/400 SMTP
Server.

For more information, contact me via email or check out our web site.

If you are using the SNDDST command, you must first copy the AS/400 file to
a folder. From there use the SNDDST to send the PC formatted file via your
SNDDST command. The receiving end will then be able to read the PC formated
file.

Try that and see how you go. Good Luck...
