Is anyone using GUI/400 RTS Pro as an interface to an AS400 application? If
so are you having any problems with the licensing manager?

We use GUI/400 RTS Pro and have no trouble with licensing. We are using v4.1
of the GUI LMS. One thing I noticed when upgrading to 4.1 was that it uses a
different licensing program on the AS/400, version 3x used programs in
library GUI400LIC. When you install 4x it overwrites the programs in
GUI400LIC with one new program which simply acts as a 'pointer' to the new
programs in the library SEALMS. If you delete library GUI400LIC (like I did
once) you will find that your old v3x clients will no longer get access to
the licences.

Also, I think v4x is tougher on RTS clients that simply use the RTS as a
5250 emulator (i.e. without any panels). In this situation I think a license
is still needed. v3x did not bother if the RTS was not showing any panels.

If this is no help please be more specific and I will try to help again.
