Adv36/AS400 Tape Drive Support

I want to upgrade an Advanced 436C, running V4R5 from a 6380 tape drive to
6383 ... to match the other machines we have. I know the drive is
supported under V4R5, but will it show up and work in the Adv 436?

We also found out the hard way ... while upgrading our 170s from V4R5 to
V5R2, that the internal tape drive (13Gb) just doesn't work anymore.
Please let me know if you think this will work.
