I've to write an application to presents datas from AS-400 server into
WebPage. The datas is coded in codepage 870 and I have to present it in
windows-1250 codepage. Can anyone help me to write the translation programm.
I need to know an charactermap for the codepage 870.

It's possible to set the codepage870 into MS Dos or windows (on normal
PC)??

THX.

If you look at teh International Application Development manual the code
page 870 is listed there in detail. Appendix F

It is on the web or on the AS/400 books CD that you shoyuld have had with
the AS/400.

QB3AQ501 - I believe.

I think that 870 and 1250 are very similar both Polish ??

Could You perhaps translate it by just copying it to a file in the IFS?
If You have the data in a "flat" 870 CCSID file You should be able to
do
CPYTOSTMF FROMMBR('/qsys.lib/qtemp.lib/file870.file/file870.mbr')
TOSTMF('/tmp/file819.txt') DBFCCSID(870) STMFCODPAG(819)
