I want to setup my iSeries Access for Windows to automatically update.
Right now it's looking at my D: drive which is the CD rom (where I installed
it from.) What is the directory I should look at on the IFS where IAW is
installed?

/QCA400/Win32/Install/Image. Win32 can be substituted for OS2, Win16,
DOS, etc.

or maybe...

/IBM/ProdData/CA400/Install/Image

Obviously I never actually set it up and tried it btu I think one of
those will do the trick.

You'll need to keep a drive mapped to this location. Then change your
service properties in iSeries Access properties to point to this mapped
drive.

You simply need to set \\Yoursystemname\Qibm.

Works like a charm

You shouldn't need any drive mapping... you should be able to use the UNC server share.

Something like:

\\AS400\ROOT\QIBM\ProdData\CA400\Express\Install\Image

...or UserData if you maintain your own custom install image:

\\AS400\ROOT\QIBM\UserData\CA400\Express\Install\Image

(these examples assume you have NetServer running)
