Setup Xerox WorkCentre 250 as AS400 printer device

Hi all,

I have problem setting up a printer device with IP connection for Xerox
WorkCentre 250 in AS400 OS V4R2.

I can create and vary on the device with the following paramters
DEVCLS(*LAN), MODEL(1),TYPE(3812), LANATTACH(*IP), POTY(9100),
ATTACH(*DIRECT), TRANSFORM(*YES), MFRTYPMDL(*HP4),
RMTLOCNAME(192.168.132.241), SYSDRVPGM(*HPPJLDRV).

But when I send a spool file for printing, the device get a MSGW status with
a message ID CPF337F (Remote device rejected an attempt by the writer to
open a connection).

Any advice is very much appreciated. Thank you all.

Is this printer set up to support PJL and PCL? If so, the
information in the software knowledge data base says that
port number 2000 is used for Xerox printers in general. You
might want to try that.
