we are looking for a driver, how we can access from an windows-maschine to
the DB2-database without install client-access.
thanks
Helge
I think you can use any Telnet-Client. To have customizable Function-Keys
you should not use the client which is delivered with windows. For Example
you could use the PC5250-Program of IBM, which is available as a stand-alone
programm, not as part of client-access. But I think there are many other
telnet-client-programs available.

Squirrel. what are your needs?
Dieter
If you want ODBC without IBM look into Hitsoft's driver.

Ya can do it with OpenOffice.org and JDBC, or you can take a look
at our java telnet emulator for the iSeries...
This emulator also supports File-transfer and has a buildin query builder.
