Dear all :
If the question has been discussed before, sorry to ask it again
because I am new here.

I want to change the source date in rpg source member. As far as I
know, code/400 can do
this but it need software ready both on AS/400 and PC client. Is there any
other better way to do ?

If you have anything to share, please do not hesitate to reply to
me. Thanks a lot.

If you want to change all of the lines to the same date in a member, F13 in
PDM, and put in the date in the field.

Otherwise, if you just want to change specific lines, you can use a file
utility such as EZVIEW. Source physical files have 3 fields: SRCSEQ (6,2);
SRCDAT (6,0) and SRCDTA. SRCDAT is what you will be changing. These files
are not keyed, but you can write a CL program to override to the member you
want, do an OPNQRYF to sort the records by SRCSEQ, and use an RPG program to
change the dates.
