Is there any way one can reset the ADSM Administrator password (the
initial one) ? When I first configured ADSM I used ADSMADMIN as the
name and password which was what was specified in the configuration
guide. I've already been through 5 iterations of password changes since
with no problems. I haven't signed on in a while and when I just tried
it the other day using the last known password it wouldn't let me sign
on GIVING ME THIS ERROR:
ANS5644E Session rejected: SNALU6.2 connection failure.
CPIC security not valid.
ANS5519E Unable to establish session with server.

ANS5103I Highest return code was -204.

The only thing I can think of is that we migrated to a new machine after
the last change which was probably the last time I used it, and it may
not have kept the current password. I tried the initial setup and it
didn't work either. Is there any way to reset the password ? Thanks.
Jim

Hi Jim.

Use the ENDSVRADSM command to end the ADSM
server.

Use the STRSVRADSM command to start the ADSM
server.
RESET(*YES)
Specifies whether the default administrator ID
(ADSMADMIN) and password (ADSMADMIN) should be
reset to the original shipped values.

Hope this will help.
