Having configured the AS/400 to accept incoming calls on an async line, I am
baffled to what to do next. I have tried to configure my dial-up in win95 to
connect to the AS/400, and i have come so far to use the terminal window
after connect. I here type my userid and password and after pressing enter e
couple of times i get my IP adresses for the AS/400 and the remote. But what
next if i press F7 then i exit the terminal window and returns to the
verifying userid and password thing in W95, after a while i get a message
that there was no protocols matching the ones specified in the dialup
configuration.
What am i doing wrong here !
All suggestions are very welcome

Make sure your dial-up networking connection only has IP as a protocol
and the box "log in to network" is *not* checked.

I did this from the beginning, so it's not that, any other suggestions are
welcome.

Make sure that you are using CSLIP for Unix connections, bring up
terminal window before and after are not checked, TCP/IP under server
has the correct address and log into network IS checked. I use this to
a number of accounts and it works perfectly and logs on completely
after clicking connect on the DUN screen.
